Irvine-based Kia Motors America selected Publicis Groupe-owned Denuo as its web Agency of Record, following a six-month bidding process for the job. Among other responsibilities, the company will redesign Kia’s website and also facilitate partnerships with mobile and social media technology firms.
"As awareness, perception and consideration for the Kia brand continues to improve, the evolution of Kia.com is vital to the brand's growth, and Denuo has offered fresh new ideas and insights and proven they can help us navigate these transitions and further our momentum," said David Schoonover, national manager of CRM & digital marketing, KMA.
Denuo is a Chicago-based marketing group that aims to fill the white spaces in marketing, according to representatives. The company defines these spaces as emerging marketing challenges and opportunities where set solutions do not yet exist.
The group will completely redesign Kia’s website to enhance the car-buying research and shopping process for its customers. Denuo will also be tasked with managing the Kia.com Owner's Portal for existing customers, making it easier for these customers to navigate. The new collaboration maintains Kia's commitment for establishing technological advancements in the automotive industry as well as fulfilling the needs of its customers.
