The Newport Beach venue formerly known Balboa Bay Club & Resort, has changed its name to create awareness between the two distinct entities located in the upscale coastal city.

The private club will be known as the Balboa Bay Club; the full- service, waterfront resort will simply be the Balboa Bay Resort.

The Balboa Bay Club was founded in 1948 and boasts a stunning, private coastline for its members to experience Newport Beach living. It offers access to private beaches, restaurants, and an expansive spa and fitness center. Adjacent to the club is the Balboa Bay resort, which offers its guests 15 waterfront acres, 160 beautiful guest rooms, and a full-service, luxury experience.

“Since opening our resort doors to the traveling public in 2003, our resort and dedicated staff have provided our guests with the ultimate Newport Beach waterfront experience,” said Kevin Martin, president of International Bay Clubs, LLC.  “It has, and will always be our goal to deliver the perfect balance of the California life and style to our guests.”
