Veteran commercial real estate leasing professional Brian Harnetiaux has been named president the South Coast Metro Alliance, a business organization serving Orange County’s commercial and cultural center. Harnetiaux is currently the leasing director and general manager of privately held real estate firm Transwestern and is responsible for the leasing and management of 2.1 million square feet of office space.He is also the president of BOMA (Building Owners and Managers Association) California and recently finished a two-year term as president of BOMA/Orange County. In 2011, Harnetiaux was named BOMA/Orange County’s Principal Member of the Year and has served on the Executive Committee of BOMA International and as vice chair of the Industry Defense Fund. Encompassing areas of north Costa Mesa and south Santa Ana, South Coast Metro is home to a sterling collection of corporate headquarters and businesses, retail centers, residential communities, world-class cultural venues, award-winning fine and casual dining establishments and luxury hotels.
